CAMERAPERSON can best be described as a film edited together from footage that have been left on the cutting room floor of other documentaries. The source of this footage is Kirsten Johnson, a cinematographer whose career has taken her all over the world and into some of the world's most dangerous war zones. In this collage-like film she lets the images tell their own story, thus asking fundamental questions about what kind of memories we take with us in life and how they shape our character. CAMERAPERSON is a little film about grand themes.
