Nature just got gangster

In order to dissuade him from a life of crime, rebellious big city teenager Ricky is sent off to the New Zealand countryside to live with his new foster parents Aunt Bella and Uncle Hec. After a tragedy threatens to send Ricky to another home, he escapes into the bush with Uncle Hec in pursuit. A national manhunt ensues, and the unlikely duo must overcome their differences to survive the wilderness. HUNT FOR THE WILDERPEOPLE is a charming and imaginative coming-of-age dramedy full of interesting characters.
