15 year-old Riikka Karppinen is Finland's youngest city councillor, and as a Green Party candidate she's fighting an international mining company's plans for extracting rare metals national park. This means she has to convince not only her fellow members of the city council but also her own father – for what they see as an opportunity for local development, she sees as a threat. Afraid there will not be any nature left for future generations, the young activist struggles against political and capitalist power.
