Remember the name Kurt Olav Helle. One day he will be one of the biggest stars in Hollywood, but until his ship comes in, the single 51-year-old lives in the small village of Lonevåg outside of Bergen. He collects films and Donald Duck comics, sings karaoke, and works on his movie scripts. He also suffers from Parkinson’s disease. Despite his many setbacks, Kurt never gives up on his dream of becoming a movie star. CURT COOL is a charming and playful documentary about a man out of the ordinary.
