The Greenland ice sheet is millions of years old, and has been the home of the indigenous Kalaallit people for centuries. Today this sheet is rapidly melting due to global warming – taking with it a whole society and way of life organized around the ever-present ice. A visually striking documentary, STELLA POLARIS ULLORIARSUAQ records the changing scenery of Greenland, and the attempt of its inhabitants to conserve the messages and wisdom of this disappearing world.
