Aside from being a choir conductor in Reykjavik, Halla wages her own private guerilla war against the energy companies that litter the picturesque Icelandic landscape with unsightly electricity pylons. However, when she finally gets her application to adopt a Ukrainian child approved, she is forced to reconsider her life and her actions – but not for long. The long-awaited follow-up to OF HORSES AND MEN is an intelligent, elegant and funny film which fuses elements of drama, comedy, musical and action to create an immediate audience favourite.
