Amin lives on two continents. In France, he works his body to the bone on construction sites in and around Paris, and in Senegal, he’s a devoted husband to his wife Aisha and a loving father to their three children. However, working in France means that he is only able to see his family a handful times each year, and this emotional and geographic distance makes for an existence marked by absence and longing. AMIN is a nuanced and sober portrait of an aspect of modern-day Europe which is rarely seen on the big screen.
