To hold a pen is to be at war

It’s said that the pen is mightier than the sword, and after meeting the four writers portrayed in this inspiring and beautifully crafted documentary, it’s hard to disagree. Mansur Rajih from Yemen, Asieh Amini from Iran, Philo Ikonya from Kenya and Musa Mutaev from Chechnya are all authors or poets who have had to move to Norway because their words have made it unsafe for them to live in their native countries. STORIES OF COURAGE presents four tales about going against the grain and writing a new and hopefully better reality for oneself and the people around you.
