When twelve-year-old Otis finds success as a child television star in Hollywood, his ex-rodeo-clown father returns to serve as his guardian. And when he isn’t on set charming audiences, Otis spends his time at a motel enduring his father’s abuse. The award-winning HONEY BOY is based on Shia LaBeouf’s experiences growing up in Hollywood, with the actor playing his own father. Directed by BIFF favourite Alma Har’el, this is a vulnerable and emotionally raw depiction of a tempestuous father/son relationship.
