A thrilling documentary about illegal logging, filmed in secrecy by undercover activists

Each year 20 million cubic metres of timber are illegally harvested in Romania, and in this thrilling documentary, we follow activists from the Environmental Investigation Agency as they go undercover to expose the people and companies responsible. Filmed in secrecy with hidden cameras, WOOD takes us into meetings with corrupt businessmen who make a fortune on illegal deforestation and documents the mafia-like practices of a network that stretches from the poorest parts of Europe to Asia and South America.
