Parvis lives with his Iranian parents in a sleepy German suburb. His promiscuous life is turned upside-down when he meets the introverted Amon in the refugee camp where he is doing community service. And when the two men fall in love, they have to contend with the inhospitable ways of European immigration authorities. In his directorial debut, Faraz Shariat weaves the personal and the political into a rich tapestry of pastel colours and techno music. NO HARD FEELINGS is a semi-autobiographical tale of love, migration and sexual identity.
Faraz Shariat (Germany) NO HARD FEELINGS is Shariat’s first feature film.
