Western Norwegian Short Films
BIFF presents a competition programme for short films from our region. The films will be screened with English subtitles.
This year the premieres of the short films will be screened at our largest venue: Røkeriet at USF Verftet. After the films, there will be a talk with the filmmakers, where the audience can ask questions. If you miss the first screening, there is also an extra screening on the last weekend of the festival without a Q&A with the filmmakers. Jury: Britt Sørensen, film critic in BT | Vibeke Flesland Havre, actor and theatre director.
This year’s winner of the Western Norwegian short film award is HIJACK139. Screening of the full programme on Saturday 17 October. Many of the short films are also available on BIFF+ here.
