In April of 2014, Michael Glawogger died of malaria four months into the filming of his experimental new documentary which would take him and his crew on a journey across the world with no set plans, themes or expectations. With UNTITLED his long-time editor Monika Willi has sculpted a uniquely fascinating film out of the footage that was left behind. The result is a documentary which glides through Europe and Africa like a restless ghost in search of images, scenes and rituals which capture the essence of the human experience.
