NOWHERE TO HIDE starts out with Iraqi healthcare worker and filmmaker Nori Sharif documenting the consequences of the withdrawal of US troops in 2011 by interviewing patients. In 2014 the film takes an unexpected turn, when the hospital where he works is attacked. Fleeing with his family Nori realises that he himself is a victim of war, and decides to turn the camera on himself. The result is a captivating documentary that shows how war turns a resourceful man with a job, a family and a film hobby into a part of the amorphous mass of humans we simply call "refugees".
